In January-April 2017 volume of foreign currencies trades on KASE increased twofold and made up KZT29.3 trln ($92.0 bn)

/KASE, May 11, 2017/ – In January-April 2017 the volume of foreign currencies trades on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swap transactions, made up KZT29,304.6 bn (equivalent of USD92,037.6 mln) and increased twofold (2.2 times in dollar terms) against the same period of 2016. In comparison with the previous four-month period (September–December 2016) the trades volume increased 1.6 times (1.8 times in dollar terms).
