Pipelines exploitation department of KazTransOil CJSC informs about performed works in first nine months of 2001

/IRBIS, October 18, 01/ - Press service of KazTransOil CJSC (Astana) informed today about performed work of pipelines exploitation department of KazTransOil CJSC (PED) for first 9 months of current year. It is informed that specialists of PED control the process of performing 40 contracts and arrangements with outside organizations, realizing work aimed at diagnostics of line part of pipeline, pipeline and tanks technology, current equipment repairing works, environment protection (ecological monitoring). Total performance of plan of current repair works has accounted for 80% of annual plan. Plan of organizational and technical activities on preparation of objects of KazTransOil CJSC to work in autumn-winter period of 2001-2002 has been 96% performed by October 1, 2001. Reasons of non-performing the plan are not mentioned in press-release. In current year performance of in-pipe diagnostics of 1,185 km of pipeline is planned. The performance of above mentioned works accounted for 661 km in 9 months, physical volume was performed by 56%. Works are continued on all objects. Currently all necessary diagnostic equipment is mobilized and located in places of delivery for doing of in-pipe diagnostics. Volume of accepting and transferring of oil according to the CPC system of flow has reached 5,197,276 tones in 9 months. While for reporting period oil transportation was done for filling Atyrau-Black Sea region of pipeline Tengiz- Novorossiysk and oil transportation in this segment in work conditions. There was no any refuse of technological equipment for 9 months of current year. Press service also informs that KZT40m was allocated to a work protection sphere. In 2001 a number of accidents in objects of KazTtransOil has decreased dramatically, only 2 accidents happened against 9 in 2000 and 7 in 1999.
