/IRBIS, Oct 16, 01/ - REUTERS informs, with the reference to Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, that in Kazakhstan oil production grew by 19.1% in January-September 2001, at 26.275m tons relative to similar period of last year.

Volume of the extracted oil increased by 0.3% in September, at 2.919m tons relative to August.
