In January–October 2016 volume of foreign currency traded on KASE decreased by 46.9 % and made up KZT29.5 trln (USD85.2 bn)
/KASE, November 4, 2016/ – In January–October 2016 the volume of foreign currencies traded on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swap transactions, made KZT29,524.2 bn (equivalent to USD85,171.5 mln) and decreased by 46.9 % against the same period of 2015 (by 69.5 % in dollar terms).
In comparison with the previous ten-month period (March–December 2015) the volume of trades decreased by 37.7 % (by 59.6 % in dollar terms).
