/KASE, September 2, 2016/ – In January–August 2016 the volume of trading in government securities (GS) on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE)* made up KZT398.2 bn (equivalent to USD1,135.9 mln) increasing by 0.4 (decreasing by 47.0 % in dollar terms) against the corresponding period of 2015.

In comparison with the previous eight-month period (May–December 2015) the trades volume increased 2.9 times (1.7 times in dollar terms).
