Energy Ministry of USA diverges on oil reserves with API

/IRBIS, June 7, 01/ - REUTERS informs that the Ministry of Energy of the USA published an official data showing that the growth of oil and oil products reserves at the American oil reserves are falling behind the figures revealed by the American Petroleum Institution (API) on Tuesday. Analysts still believe that these minor discrepancies can not affect the world market towards the decline in the oil prices. The reserves are quite big not to allow such developments, said BNP Paribas Futures analyst. Weekly growth of the crude oil reserves in the USA equaled 1.6m barrels as of June 1, states the Ministry. Meanwhile, the API released 3.4m barrel growth figures on Tuesday. The Ministry of Energy also says that gasoline reserves increased by 2.3m barrels, while API states it was 3.2m barrels. Total reserves of oil, gasoline and distillates reached 642m barrels in a week, informs the Ministry, which is by 25m barrels more than those figures of last year.
