/IRBIS, May 07, 01/ -According to GSRW, the KazTransOil press office has announced that a single system for managing main pipelines - the 100% state-owned Oil and Gas Transport National Company - has been created.

Under a government decree, 100% of the shares of KazTransOil, KazTransGas, Atyrau International Airport, Euro Asia Air helicopter company, and 99% of the shares of Munai Impex are transferred to the newly created holding. KazTransSviaz and Aktyuneftesviaz will contribute 90% of their shares each, and the Kazmortransflot national maritime navigation company 50%.

The new national company will be engaged in delivery and sale of hydrocarbons, operation of oil and gas pipelines, organization of financing and development of feasibility studies for transport projects.
