VITA LLP (Kazakhstan) floated the second issue bonds

/IRBIS, Apr 3, 01/ - RG Securities LLP (Almaty), financial consultant of VITA LLP (Almaty; purchasing, processing, production and sales of oil and fat products) on entering the company bonds to the stock market, sent official notification to the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) that initial offering of the second issue inscribed coupon bonds (KZ2CKAPUBA19, official list of the KASE securities, category "B", trade code - VITAb2; $100; $1.5 mln; Dec 1, 00 - Dec 1, 01; semiannual coupon at 14.0% APR) of VITA LLP finished on April 2, 2001. Based on the data of RG Securities LLP, 50.40% of the issue was purchased by the banks of the second tier; 5.40% - by private accumulative pension funds (using their own capital); 33.60% - insurance companies; 8.44% - brokerage companies; 0.36% - individuals. Other investors have bought 1.80% of the bonds at face value. The yield of the bonds at initial offering, calculated on a semiannual basis, equaled 14.0% APR. All the securities were offered at face value. The second issue bonds of VITA LLP passed the KASE listing under category "B" on December 6, 2000. Based on the issue terms, the floatation term of the issue is 6 months from the circulation starting date. The trades were opened at the Exchange on December 7, 2000. On December 15 initial offering of the bonds were held in the trade system of the KASE for a total of 150 th. U.S. dollars at face value. The yield equaled 14.0094% APR on a semiannual basis. Since then, only one deal was made (March 28, 01) in purchase and sale sector of the KASE for a total of $8,016.62. The yield is 14.6142% APR. In repo sector the volume of 8 deals made using these bonds exceeded $3.3 mln. Repo terms vary from 6 to 123 days, rates from 10.0 to 15.50% APR in currency terms. RG Securities LLP acts as a market-maker of the bonds at the Exchange. Current return of the bonds today equals (% APR) 13.54/14.48.
