Trading in futures due September 2016 opens on KASE as of March 15
/KASE, March 15, 16/ – From March 15, 2016 trading in the following futures contracts opens on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) with execution in September 2016:
- USD/KZT exchange rate futures;
- KASE Index value futures;
- futures on common shares GB00B0HZPV38 (KASE official list, second category, GB_KZMS) of KAZ Minerals PLC (London);
- futures on common shares KZ1C33870011 (KZ000A0LE0S4, KASE official list, first category, HSBK) of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (Almaty);
- futures on common shares KZ1C59150017 (KZ1C00000876, KASE official list, first category, KCEL) of Kcell JSC (Almaty);
- futures on common shares KZ1C29950017 (KZ1C00000744, KASE official list, first category, KZTO) of KazTransOil JSC (Astana);
- futures on common shares KZ1C51460018 (KZ000A0KEZQ2, KASE official list, first category, RDGZ) of KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC (Astana).
In KASE trading system these six-month contracts will feature under abbreviations (trading codes) F_USDKZT1609, F_INKASE1609, F_GB_KZMS1609, F_HSBK1609, F_KCEL1609, F_KZTO1609 and F_RDGZ1609 accordingly.
Following a decision of KASE's Committee on Indices and Securities Valuation the above-mentioned futures were assigned the following initial theoretical prices which were published in KASE trading system.
We remind you that as of March 15, 2016 futures F_USDKZT1606, F_INKASE1606, F_GB_KZMS1606, F_HSBK1606, F_KCEL1606, F_KZTO1606 and F_RDGZ1606 transform into three-month futures contracts, with the last trading day falling on June 14, 2016.
The last day of trading in six-month futures is September 14, 2016.
Trading in derivatives is held on KASE on business days from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm (ALT), the ensuing clearing session – from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm (ALT).
