In January–February 2016 volume of foreign currency trading on KASE decreased by 51 % and made up KZT9.2 trln ($25.3 bn)

/KASE, March 5, 16/ – In January–February 2016 the volume of foreign currencies traded on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swap transactions, made up KZT9,216.5 bn (equivalent of USD25,281.1 mln) and decreased by 51.0 % (by 75.2 % in dollar terms) against the same period of 2015. In comparison with the previous two-month period (November–December 2015) the trades volume decreased by 12.7 % (24.9 % in dollar terms).
