/IRBIS, Dec.26, 00/ - On December 26 the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan repaid the 1st issue of MEKAVM-12 (KZ4CL2612A05) for an amount of 11,942.4 thousand USD, or KZT1,725.7 mln at repayment exchange rate.

Weighted average yield of these bonds has settled at the auction at 10.01% APR in currency terms. Actual yield in tenge, calculated at a conversion rate, equaled 15.05% APR.
