Cancellation of MEOKAM-36 #17 emission

/IRBIS, Dec.18, 00/ - Today the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of
Kazakhstan held the 17th auction for MEOKAM-36 floatation (1,092 days;
KZ53L1812A34). Announced volume of the issue equaled KZT500 mln. Size
of satisfaction of noncompetitive applications is 50% of specified amount.
KASE was informed that the issuer declared about cancellation of the
emission because of unsatisfactory price conditions of submitted bids.
