/Almaty office REUTERS, Aug. 10, 00/ - The press release of the "Kazakhstan temir zholy" informs that volume of freight turnover of the Republican railroads enterprise from January till July 2000 has grown by 4.7% in comparison with a similar period of the last year and has reached 4.615 billion tenges.

Total amount of transit traffics for seven months of a current year has grown by 16% to a similar period of 1999 and has made 3.77 million tons.

The press release informs that the company has increased volume of loading by 37.6%, to 85.731 million tons.
