The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan plans to offer MEKKAM-6 and MEOKAM-24 on July 31 and August 1

/IRBIS, July 28, 00/ -The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan has planned to conduct two issues of GS on the first half of the next week: MEKKAM-6 and MEOKAM-24. MEKKAM-6 offering auction (issue #154) will be held on July 31. The payment date is August 3. Maturity date - Feb.1,01. Circulation term - 182 days. Planned issue volume - KZT250 mln. MEOKAM-24 offering auction (issue #14) will be held on August 1. The payment date is August 3. Maturity date - August 1, 02. Coupon payments - Feb.1, 01; Aug.2,01; Jan.31,02; Aug.1,02. Circulation term - 728 days. Planned issue volume - KZT250 mln. Restriction for noncompetitive applications for these issues - 50%. In the next week (July 31 - August 6) the repayment volume of domestic GS of the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan is estimated at KZT391.9 mln at current exchange rate. Total repayment volume of domestic GS from July 31 through August 6 (including the National Bank notes) is estimated at KZT1,555.8 mln. The Ministry of finance does not exclude a possibility of conducting other SS offerings in the second half of the next week. The appropriate information will be given in this case.
