York Times, that the president of OPEC, Ali Rodriguez will hold a meeting
with the general secretary of the oil cartel, Rilvanu Lukman on Tuesday to
discuss the mechanisms of reducing crude oil prices on the world commodity
markets. The minister of energy and mineral resources of Algeria, Chakib

be reached without discussing this matter by all OPEC members. It is also
said that the cartel will agree to increase oil production by 500 th. barrels a
day only if the prices will remain at $28 per barrel for more than 20 business
