The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan plans to offer MEKKAM-6 and MEOKAM-24 on July 10, 11

/IRBIS, July 05, 00/ -The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan (MOF) has planned to conduct two issues of SS: MEKKAM-6 and MEOKAM-24 on the first half of the next week. MEKKAM-6 offering auction (issue #152) will be held on July 10 with the payment made on July 13. Maturity date - Jan. 11, 2001. Circulation term - 182 days. Planned issue volume - KZT250 mln. MEOKAM-24 offering auction (issue #12) will be held on July 11 with the payment made on July 13. Maturity date - July 11, 2002. Coupon payments - Jan. 11, 2001; July 12, 2001; Jan. 10, 2002; July 11, 2002; Circulation term - 728 days. Planned issue volume - KZT250 mln. Restriction for noncompetitive applications for these issues - 50%. Total repayment volume of domestic SS of the MOF on the next week (July 10-16) is estimated at KZT731.5 mln. Total repayment volume of domestic SS from July 10 to July 16 (taking into account notes of the NBK) is estimated at KZT2,074.8 mln. MOF does not exclude a possibility of conduction of other SS offerings at the second half of the next week. The appropriate information will be given in this case.
