Sales of goods (services offered) fell by KZT3.93 bln, or 17.4%, whereas their cost declined by KZT5.39 mln, or 41.6%. Total expenses for the period increased by KZT2.99 mln, or 91.9%. As a result, net income of Almaty-Kus for the reported period totaled KZT4.10 mln or KZT2.28 mln (35.7%) less in comparison to the first quarter of 1999. The main activities of the company are poultry farming production, commerce and leasing. The main sorts of goods: poultry and chicken meat, breeding and grade eggs and eggs shampoo.
