/IRBIS, May 6, 00/ - During the nineteenth business week of current year (May 2 - 6) 6 deals were made for a total of $543.8 th. in private issue securities (PIS) trade sector of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE). During the week the turnover fell by 19.2%, and the number of deals shrank 3 times.

In terms of securities the volume reached 16,674 shares, whereas in last week - 39,670.

The deals were made in 5 instruments. Common shares of OJSC "Bank TuranAlem" (BTAS, official list of securities, category "A") accounted for the most of the weekly turnover of PIS market. Their proportion reached 96.8%.
