In April volume of trades in Non-state Securities on KASE decreased from $2,284.3 th to $1,179.4 th

/IRBIS, May 4, 00/ - During the last month on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange 38 deals were registered in Private Securities on total sum of $1,179.4 th. They included 26 deals in ordinary trade mode (secondary trade market) on sum of $840.9 th. and 12 deals conducted on April 25 in primary auction on additional placement of "Almaty Kus" OJSC coupon bonds (Chapaeyvo, KZ2C3AF64A13, official list of securities on KASE, category "A", trade code ALKSb) on sum of $338.4 th. In comparison with the previous month, number of deals decreased by 15.6% (from 45) and volume of operations in money terms declined by 48.4% (from $ 2,284.3 th). The volume of operations expressed in number of traded securities is valued at 154,047 (116,137 shares and 37,910 bonds including 3,400 and 34,510 bonds of ALKSb and KOMBb respectively). In March, the volume totaled 718,883 securities (667,113 shares and 51,770 bonds). Following are the leaders of April trade volumes at KASE: - coupon bonds of "Komirbank" OJSC (KOMBb, official list of securities, category "A", 30.1% from total exchange volume in private securities or $355,5); - coupon bonds of "Almaty Kus" OJSC (28.7% and $338.4 th.); - common prescribed shares of "TNC "KAZCHROME" OJSC (KZCR, official list of securities, category "B"; 14.9% or $175.8 th); - common prescribed shares of "Temirbank" OJSC (TEBN, official list of securities, category "A",11.3% or $132.9 th). Bonds of "Komirbank" OJSC and common prescribed shares of "Bank CenterCredit" OJSC (CCBN, official list of securities, category "A") had the highest liquidity in March. In total the deals were made in 13 tools (15 - in March). Seventeen deals out of 20 were productive. The productiveness has not changed. Out of 38 deals, 21 have been conducted in the KASE Quoted System (In March 17 out of 45) that excludes automatic satisfaction of the counter auction applications (so-called direct transactions when the traders conduct deals under direct agreements). Another five (28 - in Macrh) deals have been conducted in the main mode of KASE Quoted System by counter auction method.
