The Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan plans to offer MEKKAM-6 on May 2

/IRBIS, Apr.28, 00/ - The Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan has planned an issue of SS for the first half of next week: MEKKAM-6. MEKKAM-6 offering auction (issue #141) will be held on May 2. The payment date - May 4. Maturity date - Nov.2, 2000. Circulation term - 182 days. Planned issue volume - KZT500 mln. Repayment volume of domestic SS of the Ministry of finance of Kazakhstan in the next week (May 2 -7) is estimated at KZT834.9 mln at KZT142.15 official rate of the tenge against the dollar (May 4, $5.9 mln, MEKAVM-6 of 20th issue, KZ46L0404A05). Total repayment volume of domestic Kazakhstani SS during May 1 through 7 (including the notes of the National Bank) equals KZT1,772.1 mln. The Ministry of finance does not exclude the possibility of holding other offerings in the second half of the week, which will be announced additionally.
