Exchange quotations.
By indicative interbank quotations of the dollar in REUTERS information
system, tenge gained 4 points in comparison with previous day closing on
demand and 2 points on supply of the American currency.
Today the conjuncture of both the Exchange, and a whole Kazakhstani
interbank market of U.S. dollar was identical to that of yesterday. Tenge was
inclined to grow always. Slight difference from Monday was observed right
before closing of the day. Yesterday dealers made an attempt to raise the
dollar a bit. Today indicative interbank quotations were rarely stable.
At trades on TOM and SPOT terms no deals were made today. There were
no bids either. Lately these trades are out of dealers' interests. The market
of the dollar is mostly client oriented.
On the next session of KASE on Wednesday decreasing trend of the
exchange rate of the U.S. dollar is likely to remain, and it is confirmed by
objective market indicators and the behaviors of the dealers.
