By indicative interbank quotations of the dollar in REUTERS information system, tenge did not change in comparison with previous day closing on demand and lost 3 points on supply of the American currency. The day started with a vivid firming of tenge against the dollar on the main morning trades of KASE under a quite a large supply of the American currency that could not be balanced completely by demand. In the second half of the day the situation became less clear. The quotations of the dollar did not reveal any certain trend, by fluctuating around 3-4 points without a clear direction. Only by the evening the situation was getting more clear, which was due to interbank indicative quotations that were showing a weak growth in the exchange rate of the dollar during the last two hours before the market closed. Despite the firming of the dollar before the closing of the market, tenge has more chances to get stronger against the dollar by another few points than losing some on Tuesday. But this firming is likely to be minimal.
