Kcell Joint Stock Company ("Kcell" or the "Company") (LSE, KASE: KCEL), the
leading provider of mobile telecommunications services in Kazakhstan by market
share in terms of revenue and subscribers, announces its unaudited interim
results for January – September 2014.
Third quarter
- Revenue increased by 0.9 percent to KZT 49,165 million (48,749).
- EBITDA, excluding non-recurring items, rose by 2.7 percent to KZT 27,624
million (26,892).
- EBITDA margin of 56.2 percent (55.2).
- Operating income, excluding non-recurring items, up 2.4 percent to KZT
21,551 million (21,045).
- Net finance cost decreased to KZT 245 million (536).
- Net income down 15.5 percent to KZT 13,457 million (15,921) due to write-
down of assets under constructions and inventories.
- Free cash flow decreased to KZT 17,887 million (23,363).
- During the quarter the subscriber base rose by 181,000 to 13,064 million.
