/IRBIS, March 23, 00/ - Oil prices in London have grown by 0.7% in comparison with Wednesday's trades to 25.59 dollars a barrel due to OPEC unwillingness to increase oil production considerably. It has been declared today to ITAR TASS by the informed source from the London International Petroleum Exchange. The scheduled oil production increase of OPEC has "rather limited character". Fall in prices in the last four trade sessions have boosted position of those OPEC members who acts against sharp oil production increase in the second quarter of a current year, the source has pointed out. The minister of Power and Mining industry of Venezuela has declared today, that the OPEC countries "are very close" to development of the final quotas agreement. It should be accepted on March 27 at meeting of the OPEC Ministers in Vienna. A number of the leading specialists consider that the high prices on the petroleum market will be saved during the present year.
