The average price of petroleum in 2000 will not exceed $26 a barrel - A. Livshits

/PRAIM-TASS, March 20, 00/ - Average price of petroleum in 2000 will not exceed $26 a barrel, the minister of Russian Federation, chairman of the interdepartmental commission on participation of Russia in G-7 Aleksandr Livshits has declared today at the press-conference. As he said, in 2000 the sharp changes in petroleum price are not expected, however in 2001 the petroleum prices could be less favorable and the government should start to prepare.
