Additional session of KASE closed at -/141.50 tenge per dollar

/IRBIS, March 20, 00/ - At Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) additional (day) trades in U.S. dollars, Deutsche marks and euros with TOD terms were held. 4 banks participated in the trades. In U.S. dollars 3 deals were made during the trade for a total of $400 th. within KZT141.50 - 141.54 per dollar interval. At closing of the session (3:30PM) dollar was offered for KZT141.50 per unit with no demand. At 3:30PM in trades in dollars on TOM and SPOT terms no deals were made. Dollar was not quoted on these settlement terms either. At 3:30PM on interbank currency market indicative dollar quotations were at KZT141.46/56 per dollar in REUTERS information system. Indicative interbank quotations show that exchange rate of the dollar is quickly decreasing against tenge.
