/IRBIS, March 17, 00/ - Within 12th week (March 13-19) on the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) the Private securities market activity has remarkably increased. During this time 9 transactions totalling $1,170,400 were made. In comparison with the previous period the number of trade has increased 4.5 time, the trade volume in dollars has increased 6.8 times (from $170,900). The total volume of the transactions has reached 312,267 compared to 94,300 shares and bonds of the previous month. The trade in common shares of Bank CentrKredit (CCBN, official list, category "A") were most liquid as well as in the previous week. They have occupied 31.9% from total number of deals. Also deals were made in 5 other tools, from which more liquid were: - Bonds of Komirbank (KOMBb, official list, category "A") - 30.9% from total number of deals. - Preferred shares of JSC UKTMK (UKTMKp, official list, category "A") - 27.8% from total number of deals. Out from 9 transactions 2 have been conducted in the KASE Quoted System, excluding automatic satisfaction of the counter auction applications (so-called direct transactions); 7 have been conducted in the basic mode of KASE Trade System. In the previous week all transaction were made in the basic mode.
