Budget expenses of Kazakhstan in 2000 will make 2.9 billion dollar

/IRBIS, Feb. 24. 00/ - Kasymzhomart Tokaev, the prime minister of Republic
has informed at the press-conference on Wednesday, that the Budget
expenses of Kazakhstan in 2000 will make 404 billion tenges or about 2.9
billion dollars.
The largest share of charges - 35.8% or about 144.5 billion tenges /more
than 1 billion dollars/ will be directed on social payments, including
pensions, state and social allowances.
The next in the list is governmental debt service, which requires in 2000 of
about 46.2 billion tenges or about 332.3 million dollars or 11.4% of total
expenses. 42.7 billion tenges /307.1 million dollars/ or 10.6% of total will
be directed to Kazakhstani areas. On state budget crediting will be directed
about 28 billion tenges /201,4 million dollars/.
In total above mentioned expenses will make 261 billion tenges /about 1.8
billion dollars/ or 64.7% from budget expenses.
As Tokaev said, the budget deficiency in 2000 will make 62 billion tenges
/446 million dollars/ or 3% from GDP, inflation will make 9%. The average
tenge rate should make 157 tenges for 1 dollar against of 139 tenges now.
