/IRBIS, Feb.21, 00/ - PRIME-TASS informs, with the reference to the source in the Ministry of energy, industry and trade, that in January of 2000 Kazakhstan produced 752,870 mln cubic meters of gas, 109.8% of planned amount and 61% growth to January of 1998.

The source also informs that enterprises of national oil and gas company "Kazakhoil" produced 156,564 mln cubic meters of gas /129.5% of planned amount/ in January, that is 22.7% higher than in January of last year.

Joint venture Tengizchevroil accounted for 155,261 mln cubic meters of all production /110.9% of planned amount and 116% to January of 1999/.

The remaining companies of oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan produced 44,0451 mln cubic meters of gas, or 103.7% of the plan, which is 2.5 times more than in January of last year.
