As it was expected before, demand was very large, and the prices shown the
desire of the participants to be above the cutting off price. It can be
expressed by the high banks' liquidity after quite long dollar sales within of
two previous weeks.
There was nothing unexpected in the emitter behavior. Emitter used great
demand only for the further notes yield reduction. Tactics of the National Bank
in this sector remains constant.
The sixth calendar week of 2000 (January 31 - February 06) in the State
Security primary market the National Bank has completed with a positive balance
of net - drawing: on two auctions emitter has attracted 1,507.6 million tenges.
