Oil ministers of Iran, Libya and Algeria have stated for extension of oil production limits till September

/IRBIS, Jan.24, 00/ - According to ITAR TASS, the oil ministers of Iran, Libya
and Algeria at meeting in the Libyan capital have accepted the solution to
offer at the nearest OPEC session to prolong the oil production limits till
September of 2000.
"We offer to save the quotas till September and simultaneously to strengthen
an agreements discipline inside OPEC", - the oil minister of Libya, which
presided at the today's meeting has declared.
At the end of March term of the previous limits agreement expires. However
the last OPEC members meetings have shown that there is full
determination to save the present production limitations for five next months.
