/IRBIS, Jan.20, 00/ - According to the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan the money supply (M3) on December 01, 1999 has grown by 1.9% in comparison with the previous month and to 215.7 billion tenges.

On December 01 the money issue has made 2.0 billion tenges.

The bank's deposits has amounted to 137.9 billion tenges, from which 46.2 billion are the population's deposits, from which 50.4% (23.3 billion tenges) are placed on the Halyk Servings Bank of Kazakhstan deposits.

The main share of the deposits - 23.3 billion tenges belongs to the tenge deposits.

The official refinancing rate of the National Bank of Kazakhstan is 18% p.a.
