/IRBIS, Jan.20, 00/ - According to the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan the money supply (M3) on December 01, 1999 has grown by 1.9% in comparison with the previous month and to 215.7 billion tenges. The bank's deposits has amounted to 137.9 billion tenges, from which 46.2 billion are the population's deposits, from which 50.4% (23.3 billion tenges) are placed on the Halyk Servings Bank of Kazakhstan deposits. The main share of the deposits - 23.3 billion tenges belongs to the tenge deposits. The official refinancing rate of the National Bank of Kazakhstan is 18% p.a.
