"KazTransOil" has pumped about 25 mln tons of oil in 1999

/IRBIS, Jan.18, 00/ - PRIME-TASS informs, with the reference to the
president of the company Timur Kulibaev, that Kazakhstani national oil
transportation company "KazTransOil" pumped about 25 mln tons of oil
through its pipeline network.
He informed the prime-minister Kasymjomart Tokaev of the company's
results in last year.
Amount of oil transported through "Atyrau-Samara" pipeline exceeded 10.5
mln tons, which is a record high quantity for this pipeline.
The president said the company had no wage and budgetary liabilities as of
today. However, the company has problems with renovation of its fixed
assets, and the management of the company hopes the government will
support the plans on increasing oil transportation tariffs.
