359th auction for offering notes with 100 tenge par value. Circulation term -
35 days. Announced volume of the issue - 300 mln tenge. Size of
satisfaction of noncompetitive applications is 60% of specified amount.
The auction was held with additional placement, carried out during the day.

As the last offering of notes, this issue was characterized by high demand
and complete absence of pressure from the participants on the emitter. The
instrument being offered - is the shortest among all instruments placed on
primary market of SS lately. Therefore, dealers prefer them most.
The emitter's tactics does not change: yield was left at previous level and all
effort was directed to maximize net-borrowing. The National Bank had to
work with negative balance in last weeks of the previous year. Now the
situation has changed.
