Kazakhstan to limit oil exports to 22 mln tons in 2000

/IRBIS, Dec.27, 99/ - REUTERS informs, with the reference to the prime- minister, that Kazakhstan will limit annual oil exports to 22 mln tons. "The government enacted limitations on oil exports in year 2000 from Kazakhstan to 22,000,000 tons", is said in the resolution. Annual traffic of oil exports is planned to be established and corrected quarterly based on utilization of domestic oil refineries by the Ministry of energy, industry and trade. Exports of crude oil is to be exported on the basis of the permission issued by the Ministry of energy, industry and trade by Customs committee of the Ministry of state revenues. The resolution is to get into effect 30 days after it is published. Statistics agency informs exports reached 19.2 mln tons of oil and gas condensate from January to October. The country extracted 24.3 mln tons of oil from January to November. Annual oil production is about 27-28 mln tons.
