/IRBIS, Dec.13, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at closing of interbank currency market of Kazakhstan on December 13 tenge quotations towards US dollar equaled 138.12/19 tenge per dollar. Compared to the results of the previous day tenge gained 6 points against US dollar on demand and 9 points on supply. In main (morning) session weighted average rate of the dollar with TOD terms equaled 138.17 (-0.07) tenge per dollar and closing quotations - 138.17/18. At closing of additional day session with TOD terms and the evening trades with TOM and SPT terms dollar was still not quoted. After closing of Exchange trades dollar quotations in interbank market were lowering at little paces until they reached 138.06 tenge on demand of an American currency. Some growth of the dollar in interbank market has been observed close to the end of the day. Spreads variations did not exceed 7-8 points in the second half of the day. They have increased, as usually, by the closing of the market. There are no changes in the market. Conjuncture of currency trades will not likely to change significantly on Tuesday. Dynamics of an American currency exchange rate mostly depend on bank clients' behaviors, who are selling their dollars at the Exchange. Comparable demand of the banks of the second tier does not exist. If supply remains the same, tenge may gain some points back from the dollar. IRBIS analysts are more inclined towards this scenario. But considering balanced market, the dollar may gain a bit.
