/KASE, January 17, 14/ – Kazakhtelecom (Astana), whose securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has by an official letter informed KASE of the following:

Company "Firebird Republics Fund, Ltd", legal address: C/o Trident Trust Co (Cayman) Ltd. 1 Capital Place Box 847, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, has turned to Astana Special inter-district economic court with a legal claim of September 17, 2013 against Kazakhtelecom, legal address: 31 Abai ave., Astana, on acknowledging as invalid the unlawful withdrawal of tax and claiming of additionally receivable amount of dividends.

By decision of Astana Special inter-district economic court (hereinafter – ASIEC) of December 18, 2013 Firebird Republics Fund, Ltd was denied satisfaction of its claims.

Firebird Republics Fund, Ltd has brought an appeal with request to cancel the ASIEC decision and grant a new decision on satisfaction of claims.
