Japan will grant to Kazakhstan credits to the sum of $1.2 billion

/PRIME TASS, Dec.09, 99/ - The Japanese government will grant to
Kazakhstan the credits to the sum of $1.2 billion, according to the
arrangement achieved during an official visit of Nursultan Nesarbaev, the
head of republic in Japan on December 8. He has informed about that on the
national TV.
He has told, it is necessary to prepare the technical and economic
assessments of all projects approved by the Japanese government, one of
which will be construction of the gas pipeline from Central Asia through
China to the Japanese seas coast for the natural gas delivery in Japan.
The project of the roads reconstruction to the sum of $400 million provides
connection of the Western Kazakhstan with the republican centre by the
Atyrau - Uralsk - Aktjubinsk - Kustanai - Astana transport line. There are four
projects of the costs from $50 to $100 million each in Astana. They are the
projects of waste water clearing, potable water clearing, construction of
power supply and telecommunications objects.
