/IRBIS, Nov.29, 99/ - Financial situation of Kazakhstan allows it "to repay its debt for 1999 at any time", stated the director of research and statistics department of the National Bank Gulbanu Aimanbekova (PRIME-TASS). She also told PRIME-TASS that eurobonds offered by the country for 200 mln dollars "have gotten into the country with an interest". In addition, rich harvest of grains /13 mln tones/, growth of world prices on oil and metals, reaching an agreement with the World bank on structural transformations and support of pension reforms had a favorable impact on financial situation of the country. "All these, combined, made Kazakhstan to postpone the matter on selling its portion of shares in oil joint venture TengizChevroil", she emphasized.
