Kazakhstan will keep 25% in Tengizchevroil
/IRBIS, Nov.24, 99/ - According to REUTERS, which cites the speech of the minister of finance at a press-conference, Kazakhstan is not going to sell its share in the oil-extracting JV Tengizchevroil (ТSO) and will search for other ways for the budget improving.
Before Kazakhstan discussed a capability of sale of its 25% block in TSO.
Other participants are Chevron - 45%, Mobil - 25% and LUKARKO - 5%. "We shall actuate internal drawings through the issues of the government securities. Also we have two program of external crediting from IMF", - has told Esenbaev.
"If we shall receive a $100 million loan for the pension reform before the end of the year and $75 million on structural reforms, the social debts redemption will be fairly reachable", - has told the minister.
The minister has noted, that Kazakhstan also has cancelled the obligatory sale of 50% of the exporters' foreign exchange earnings according to the IMF recommendation.
