USD/KZT at the day closing - 137.68/88 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Nov.22, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of closing of Kazakhstan's OTC-market on November 18 tenge/dollar quotations have made 137.68/88 tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate of 137.82 (-0,40) and session closing quotations of 137.84/85. By the dealers interbank quotations, tenge as against of the previous day closing decreased by 8 point on demand and by 13 points on supply. After exchange trade closing of the interbank quotation have recorded an essential tenge growth to 137.60/75. The quotation were stabilized at this level, that was especially appreciable on the dollar demand. The demand price insignificantly changed nearly 137.60 at the spread of 5-20 points. There were no expressed tendency by the day closing. The shortest money quotations reflected today sufficiency of the free tenge on the banks' correspondent accounts. The banks did not attract money in the repo sector. Taking into account the ratio of dollar closing quotations and quotations of the exchange trade, and considering a general condition of the market, the IRBIS' experts of expect the further tenge growth on KASE on Tuesday.
