"Euromoney" has named KAZKOMMERTSBANK as the best Kazakhstan bank in 1999

/IRBIS, Nov.18, 99/ - JSC KAZKOMMERTSBANK (Almaty, the official list of securities, category "A") has provided the Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) with the official. The press release informs, that the specialized financial and economic journal "Euromoney" (International publishing house "Euromoney Publications", London) has again named the bank as the best local bank of Kazakhstan in 1999. In 1995 KAZKOMMERTSBANK was named by the journals of that publishing house as the best bank of Central Asia and Transcaucasia, in 1997 as the best bank of Central Asia, in 1998 and 1999 - as the best local bank (journal "Central European"). It confirms the bank's leading position in the Central Asian region and its significant contribution in the republican banking system development. The award reflects a recognition of the bank's high quality of services and confirms the bank's high international reputation. During some years the "Euromoney" annually awards international and local banks, broker and investment companies, exchanges and other organizations, whose activity is connected with financial-investment activity. The journal does it on the basis of analysis of this or that country market and the main market participants.
