Kcell (Kazakhstan) receives first tranche under KZT10 bn from Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan

/KASE, October 3, 13/ – Kcell (Almaty), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press-release of October 2, 2013: quote Joint Stock Company Kcell (hereinafter - the Company) (LSE, KASE: KCEL), the leading provider of mobile telecommunications services in Kazakhstan by arket share in terms of revenue and subscribers, informs its shareholders and investors about the following information to be disclosed pursuant to subparagraph 4 of paragraph 1 of Article 79 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Joint Stock Companies". The Board of Directors of Kcell JSC, made a decision on 30 August 2013 (Minutes No.17 of the Board of Directors ) to approve the amount of the credit line under the bank loan agreement between Kcell JSC and Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan in the amount of 30,000,000,000 (thirty billion tenge) in order to finance working capital. On 25 September 2013 ] Kcell JSC received the first tranche of the credit line in the amount of 10,000,000,000 (ten billion tenge). The percentage of the first tranche to the equity capital of Kcell JSC is 13.5 %. The percentage of the line of credit to the amount of equity capital of Kcell JSC is 40.6%.
