Dollar hold on to strengthen in the OTC market of Kazakhstan

/IRBIS, Oct.27, 99/ - As it was informed earlier, at closing of the KASE session the tenge per US dollar quotation were fixed at the level of 140.30/31 at the average weighted rate of 140.32. Following are the quotations of Kazakhstan interbank currency market provided by dealers to the REUTERS information system (the interval is about an hour): 140.30/31 - Exchange closing, 140.26/30 140.25/30 140.35/50 140.35/47 140.35/45 - at 16:00 p.m. Almaty time After 1:00 p.m. quotation fixed small dollar strengthening. Interbank overnight rates continued to decrease and at 4:00 p.m. were fixed at the level of 7(demand) / 12 (supply).
