Tenge begins to grow on the OTC market of Kazakhstan

/IRBIS, Oct 15, 99/ - As it was informed earlier, at closing of the KASE session the tenge per US dollar quotation were fixed at the level of 140.83/85 at an average weighted rate of 140.84. Following are the quotations of Kazakhstan interbank currency market provided by dealers to the REUTERS information system (the interval is about an hour): 140.83/85 - Exchange closing, 140.65/95 140.60/80 140.40/65 140.57/77 140.25/45 - at 4:00 p.m. Almaty time The interbank quotations both on demand and on supply fix tenge strengthening after exchange trades closing. The overnight interbank tenge deposits quotations essentially reduced today from 16% (demand) / 32% (supply) in the morning to 9% (demand) and 22% (supply) in the evening. Tenge deficiency still be feeling in the market.
