USD/KZT at day closing - 141.81/90 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Oct.11, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of October 11 Kazakhstan's OTC-market closing tenge/dollar quotations has made 141.81/90 tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate of 141.77 (-0,31) and session closing quotations of 141.73/75. By the dealers interbank quotations, tenge as against of the previous day closing decreased by 24 points on demand and by 25 points on supply. After noon tenge remained stable and market liquidity - low. The spreads of the interbank quotations varied today from 4 up to 10 points at average 8: no any essential changes from Friday. The interbank overnight tenge rates decreasing during the day 3 times and at the day closing were fixed on the level of 6 (demand) / 12 (supply). The short money demand decreased and it, most likely, will promote the dollar strengthening. Taking into account the technical market indicators, the Tuesday's trades, most likely, will open highly. The dollar has more chances to become stronger. But in any case, the rate changes will be insignificant.
