USD/KZT at day closing - 142.05/15 (indicators)

/IRBIS, Oct.08, 99/ - According to REUTERS, at the moment of October 08 Kazakhstan's OTC-market closing tenge/dollar quotations has made 142.05/15 tenge per dollar at the average weighted exchange rate of 142.08 (+0.27) and session closing quotations of 142.06/11. By the dealers interbank quotations, tenge as against of the previous day closing decreased by 10 points on demand and by 5 points on supply. After noon the market remained stable and high liquid. Spreads of the interbank quotations, as well as yesterday varied from 5 to 15 points at average 10. Rates of the overnight interbank tenge deposits almost did not change during a day and made at day closing 10% p.a. (demand) and 16% p.a. (supply). Taking into account the technical market indicators, the IRBIS experts believe that there will be no any essential changes on Monday. Most likely, the dealers will refrain from active actions before the election results publication. The rate of dollar can slightly increase or somewhat decrease.
