October 8 Nazarbaev and USA representative will discuss the Baku - Jeyhan project

/IRBIS, Oct.07, 99/ - According to REUTERS, Jon Wolf, the special adviser of the President of USA and the state representative in the Caspian region is going to meet with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev for discussion of the oil pipeline project Baku-Jeyhan on October 8 in Astana. Wolf once again has given to understand that USA are interested in the Baku- Jeyhan project and they do not approve transportation routes in of the Iranian direction. Kazakhstan not of time emphasized, that it consider routes of oil transportation in the various directions, including the Iranian's. Kazakhstan extracts annually 25-26 million tonnes of oil and is going to increase production after the new pipelines building.
