/IRBIS, Sep.20, 99/ - According to message of the Statistical Agency of Kazakhstan in January - July 1999 the surplus of foreign trade balance of Kazakhstan (including CIS countries) has amounted to minus $154.2 million. For the similar period of 1998 surplus was minus $765.6 million.

The net export in January - July of a current year has made $2,712.7 million, import - $2,866.9 million. Corresponding parameters for the last year - $3,756.1 million and $4,521.7 million.

The share of CIS countries in this period has made less than 30%. Less than one half import was made from CIS countries.
