Kazakhtelecom (Kazakhstan) announces reduced tariffs on some services from December 1, 2012

/KASE, November 30, 12/ - JSC "Kazakhtelecom" (Astana), whose bonds are
officially listed at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the
following press-release of November 30, 2012:

For purposes of implementation of a flexible tariff policy and in accordance
with the Plan for Development of Information Communication Technologies of
the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
JSC "Kazakhtelecom" on December 1, 2012 reduces tariffs on some of its
services.
So, the one-off fee for connecting to the Common Use Telecommunications
Network (CUTN) of local fixed line telephone operators' telecommunication
networks goes down by 5%. Also, from December 1 this year the one-off fee for
communication operators connecting to the broad-band Internet is reduced by 10%.
Reduction of the marginal cost of 1Mbit/s under tariff package "Unlimited for
communication operators" in 4 diapasons of capacity of 1 to 2,000 Mbit/s will make
up 11% in each position. For entrepreneurs and legal entities the one-off fee for
connecting to the port under provision of Internet access will decrease by 10%;
also the monthly payment under tariff package "Megaline Optima iD Phone" will go
down by 10%.
Besides, in all rural areas the cost of connecting to the telephone network with
assignment of a user terminal number will go down by 5% for private notary
publics, attorneys and entrepreneurs.
Also the capacity of the broad-band service under packages "Unlimited", incl.
package-based provision, will increase 2 times for individual entrepreneurs and
legal entities from December 1, without changes in the fee.
Also tariff "SkyEdge agent" will be introduced for physical persons in rural areas
subscribed under the Agreement on provision of Universal and Other
Telecommunication Services.
